Baby Emma | Santa Clarita Photographer
As a Santa Clarita Newborn Photographer, I always let my families know that ideally we like to photograph somewhere around the 6-13 day mark. Sessions tend to go a bit more flawlessly than with older babies, but sometimes life happens and families don’t end up finding the photographer of their dreams at a speedy pace. Baby Emma came to me at 4 weeks old and was the oldest newborn I had photographed at the time; but that’s ok, I love older babies too! The session was such a blast, and really didn’t feel like I was photographing an older newborn because it fell perfectly in place. Follow me as we walk through Baby Emma’s first ever shoot.
Baby Emma was as dreamy a baby as a Santa Clarita Photographer could get, and I got to be extra girlie with this princess in a soft dusty rose color that took your breath away on her. At this session I went with very dainty and soft outfit changes to really showcase Emma’s beautiful facial features. The soft and fuzzy hat and floral headband add an extra element of awe.
At Bella Jeanne Photography, we take on the role of memory maker, and that is a job we take very seriously. When memories are getting made in the studio a bit of magic happens as well, a connection is made. Connections between family members occur, but connections often happen with the BJP Team and the present family. The reason that connections tend to happen at shoots is because the team meets you in your family’s element. Baby Emma’s Mom and Dad were both amazing people, and we all had a fun filled time with this session. After this shoot finished a true and natural friendship developed and I am still friends with this family to this day.
This is my favorite picture from the shoot because look at those beautiful eyes. They say eyes are the window to the soul and this image captures Emma’s pure and sweet nature to a tee. Along with the stunning eyes, Emma gave this little smirk that is just too precious for words.
